Narnia Prayer Space & Book Week

Next week we are celebrating World Book Day throughout the week, alongside our Prayer Space week, and we would like to invite all the children to dress up as a character from a book on Friday 6th March.
Our theme for the week is “Narnia” and during English lessons the children will be exploring The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and writing about the land they discover through the wardrobe.
On Friday afternoon we would like to invite you to pop into the hall at the end of the day to see all the children’s work on display. Once you have collected your child, they can show you around and explain what they have been doing.
We also have a Narnia themed prayer space next week in the library which will give the children a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the meaning of the story in a different way and use the story as a prompt for prayer. Please do come and see the prayer space for yourself- it will be open to parents after school on Tuesday 3rd March and Wednesday 4th March.
