Personal, Social and Emotional Education
In Early Years, is covered through ‘Personal, Social and Emotional Development’ and is a Prime Area. From Year 1 onwards, PSHE is an important part of our school curriculum.
Throughout the school, PSHE is taught using a programme called ‘Life To The Full Plus’, which is one of the schemes recommended by Portsmouth Diocese. This includes Relationships and Sex Education. This is supplemented with work on the Zones of Regulation, a programme which supports children to recognise and name their feelings and develop strategies to manage their emotions effectively.
The following document lays out the Curriculum for PSHE from Nursery to Year 6:
There is an online portal with information for parents. Please contact the school for a username and password.
